Energy production on every house
House association “De Woonplaats” at Winterswijk offered the tenants a 4-module solar power system. The tenants could indicate whether they wanted the little private solar power system or not. The house association remained the owner of the installed solar systems, but the produced solar energy is
to the benefit of the tenant. This saves the tenants money on their energy bills. These savings are higher than the extra rent they pay for the solar power system. And a lot of tenants were very interested in this concept! Because of this ‘contribution by the tenants extra modules were installed. Also, all the houses where tenants move are provided with a solar power system. So all new tenants can benefit from their own clean electricity!

Energy production for common use
We supplied and installed several bigger solar power systems for house associations “De Goede Woning” and “Vestia” at Zoetermeer (100 kWp each). The produced Solar power is used to provide energy to facilities for common use like the elevator, lighting in the hall, etc.
Over 600 pieces of I-165 solar modules
were installed on several types of roofs of the Vestia house
association. The picture shows the Leopolshove complex which was
finished in the winter of 2003. |

“Strak dak” (plane roof)
Stroomwerk’s design ‘strak dak’ system is completely integrated and functions an energy producing, waterproof roof. The solar modules are the roof. Because we use laminates (solar modules without an aluminium frame) with black tedlar and black aluminium fitting pieces, the roof gets its smooth, plane and even external look. This system is developed especially for use in building projects and renovation. Architects like this design. The inverters are placed inside.

4-module prefab solar power system
Stroomwerk has designed a standard solar power system that fits in the building process easily. This system is very suitable for building projects from 25 houses. The installation is very simple and fast and requires no specific skills or construction adjustments. Finally the plug from the inverter is put in the contact and the system works!
And of course it is also possible to install solar systems on the roofs of the offices or other buildings owned by the house association. Do you need more information? Please contact Rene Blickman at phone number 0570-655 055 or
